Anthropic commits $100 million to train 10,000 deployment engineers
What changed
Anthropic announced Claude Frontier Academy on October 2, backed by a $100 million commitment, with a goal of training 10,000 Frontier Deployed Engineers by the end of 2027. Employers nominate engineers, who complete a multi-day in-person program built around a simulated enterprise deployment, then a 12-week residency in which they lead a real Claude project at their own organization. Cohorts are running in San Francisco, New York and London, starting with engineers from Accenture, Bain, Capgemini, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Deloitte, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley and Novo Nordisk. Anthropic expects the first full credentials in early 2027.
